During my interview with Ms. Mindy, I enjoyed discussing our shared interest in psychology and was excited about the possibility of future developments at the school—though I didn’t know exactly what they would be at the time. I felt that my interests in psychology and criminology would be valuable for these plans. Now that I’m aware of the program we’re developing, I’m even more excited to be part of it, as it aligns perfectly with my interests.

I really enjoy the bond that teachers and students form during recess breaks and lunchtimes. These times are full of games, laughter, and discussions, which I believe strengthen the relationships between individuals at JICS. I find this positive connection translates into the classroom as well.

My educational philosophy is that every student is important and experiences learning in a different way. As teachers, it is our job to understand each student and help them achieve their best. I believe that, as individuals, we should run our own race, lifting ourselves and each other up. This starts in the classroom.
